TSCID Expands 13 New Parcels
Tucker Summit CID is proud to announce the successful expansion of our district, officially adding 13 new property owners encompassing 16 parcels. This expansion was approved by both the Tucker City Council and the DeKalb County Tax Commissioner in May.

This growth strengthens our impact — more property owners mean more resources for high-impact investments in public safety, mobility, infrastructure and beautification. Every addition to the district helps fuel our mission to support economic development and enhance the quality of life for everyone who works, lives and does business in the district.
TSCID Landscaping Updates
If you’ve noticed Tucker looking a little brighter lately, it’s thanks to the ongoing efforts of Southern Care Lawn and Landscape. Their team has been hard at work refreshing seasonal plantings throughout the district, adding vibrant flowers and greenery to key corridors and intersections just in time for spring and summer.
But their work doesn’t stop at landscaping — Southern Care also plays a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance of the CID through graffiti removal. By quickly addressing vandalism and keeping high-visibility areas clean, they help preserve property values and support a safer, more welcoming environment for everyone in the district.

From flower beds to building facades, Southern Care is helping us put our best face forward.
Project Updates
Intersection Improvements Coming to Mountain Industrial Blvd. and Hugh Howell Road

The construction bid for the Mountain Industrial Boulevard (MIB) at Hugh Howell Road (HHR) intersection improvement project will be released this summer. In partnership with the City of Tucker, Tucker Summit CID is supporting a plan to widen MIB to allow for dual left turn lanes on both the northbound and southbound approaches. Hugh Howell Road will also be widened to accommodate a dedicated right turn lane on the eastbound approach to MIB.

These upgrades are designed to improve traffic flow and enhance safety at one of the district’s busiest intersections — making it easier for employees, freight and visitors to move through the area efficiently.

New Signage for Tucker Summit CID

TSCID is working closely with the City of Tucker to upgrade several gateway signs throughout the district. These improvements will enhance visibility and ensure that key entry points into the CID reflect the progress and pride of our community.

Stay tuned as we modernize these markers to better showcase our vibrant business corridor!
Join CID Lighting Project
Tucker Summit CID is continuing efforts to enhance safety and visibility throughout the district with a proposed street lighting project — and we need your support to move it forward. If you’re a property owner along the identified corridors and haven’t signed the petition yet, now is the time.

We’re nearing the participation needed to bring the project to the Tucker City Council for approval in August. By signing, you’re helping improve nighttime safety, increase curb appeal and create a more welcoming environment for employees, customers and visitors.

Visit the CID website to sign the petition today.
