As we move through fall, I’m proud to see how much momentum continues to build across Tucker Summit CID. From new landscaping and beautification projects to strong business growth and partner collaboration, this district continues to thrive thanks to the engagement of our business owners and community leaders.
Our recent Fall Member Mixer at Tucker Brewing Company was a perfect example of that energy — great weather, great turnout and great conversation about the future of Tucker. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event a success.
With Election Day around the corner, I encourage everyone to make your voice heard. Local elections have a direct impact on the growth, safety and quality of life in our district, so please take time to learn about the candidates and cast your ballot.
Finally, stay connected with us! Tucker Summit CID has refreshed its LinkedIn and Facebook pages, where we’ll share district updates, business spotlights and project news on a timely basis.
Together, we’re continuing to make Tucker a cleaner, safer and more prosperous place to do business.

Thank you to all the members, city officials, brokers and friends who joined us earlier this month for our Fall Member Mixer at Tucker Brewing Company. The weather couldn’t have been better for an evening of outdoor networking, great food and meaningful conversation.
The TSCID board was especially pleased to welcome DeKalb County Commissioner Robert Patrick and to introduce attendees to the City of Tucker’s new director of economic development, Erica Rocker, who is focused on fostering growth throughout the district. Guests also heard from mayoral and City Council candidates who shared their vision for Tucker’s future, as well as Matthew Lee, executive director of the neighboring Tucker-Northlake CID, who discussed the collaborative police study results and a new survey (see below for details).
It was an informative, energizing and successful evening that highlighted the strong partnerships driving progress across our district! View more photos on our website gallery.

Fall Landscaping Projects Enhance Curb Appeal
Tucker Summit CID continues to invest in projects that keep the district clean, welcoming and well maintained. A special thank-you to Southern Care Lawn & Landscape for its continued partnership and exceptional work maintaining the district’s appearance year-round.
This month, crews installed new landscaping at the intersection of North Royal Atlanta Drive and Mountain Industrial Boulevard, adding fresh greenery and plantings to improve visibility and curb appeal.
| |
The CID also completed a thorough clean-up at the corner of Flintstone Drive and Granite Road, removing overgrowth and debris to create a more polished and accessible streetscape.

Mountain Industrial Boulevard Project Nears Construction Phase
Plans are moving steadily forward for the Mountain Industrial Boulevard interchange improvement project, which will make one of Tucker’s busiest intersections safer and easier to navigate.
The City of Tucker is wrapping up right-of-way acquisitions and final design work, with construction anticipated to begin in spring 2026, funded mostly by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
This significant project will impact traffic and local businesses during construction. Stay tuned to TSCID’s social media channels – LinkedIn and Facebook – and future newsletters to be informed every step of the way.

A longtime Tucker mainstay, Pioneer Rubber & Gasket has officially joined the Tucker Summit CID — strengthening its ties to the business community it’s called home for decades.
Located at 4461 Bibb Blvd., Pioneer serves as the company’s headquarters and the hub for operations across the Southeast. Led by CEO Scott Roberts, the company has built a strong reputation since 1977 as a trusted supplier of industrial hose, gasket and sealing solutions. From custom-fabricated sealing components to precision waterjet and CNC cutting, the Tucker facility handles it all — and even provides quick and convenient walk-in counter service.
Pioneer supports a wide range of industries, from food processing and manufacturing to petrochemical and construction, supplying products from trusted brands such as Continental ContiTech, Garlock, Ryco, Campbell Fittings, Dixon and Foster. Its team works closely with customers of all sizes to deliver reliable, high-performance materials that keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Being based in the heart of Tucker Summit CID gives Pioneer a front-row seat to the district’s growing network of businesses and ongoing infrastructure improvements. The location’s easy access to major highways and freight routes allows the company to move products efficiently and stay connected to customers across Georgia and beyond.
With additional facilities in Athens and Newnan, Pioneer Rubber & Gasket continues to expand its reach while keeping its roots firmly in Tucker. Tucker Summit CID is proud to welcome Pioneer Rubber & Gasket as a member and looks forward to supporting its continued growth and success in the years ahead!

A safe business environment is essential for a thriving community. To better understand current challenges and ensure faster, more effective emergency response, the Tucker-Northlake CID, in partnership with Tucker Summit CID and other local organizations, is conducting a Public Safety Survey focused on Tucker’s commercial corridors.
Your feedback as a business or property owner is critical. Survey results will help guide city and county leaders as they evaluate priorities for law enforcement, 911 services and overall public safety in our area.
The survey is anonymous, takes about 10 to 12 minutes to complete and includes space to share your experiences and concerns.
Make your voice heard and help create a safer, stronger Tucker:
