Tucker Summit CID Projects
Tucker Summit CID continuously works to reduce traffic congestion and improve traffic flow throughout its corridors. With the current budget unanimously approved by the board, the CID was able to leverage $2 million of membership revenue into $7 million of projects, thanks to our incredible relationship with the City of Tucker, DeKalb County and the Georgia Department of Transportation.
We continue to work hard on behalf of our members to improve the district.
Active Projects
Tucker Summit CID is pleased to have both DeKalb County Commissioners Steve Bradshaw and Robert Patrick committing $50,000 each, matching $100,000 from TSCID, to be allocated for infrastructure repairs within the CID. The funds will be directed toward much-needed curb, gutter and catch basin repairs among other infrastructure improvements along the district’s corridor in 2022.
The CID is awaiting the City of Tucker’s decision to match funds toward these much-needed projects as well.
Completed Projects
In addition to CID, City and County funding, the Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank (GTIB) awarded the CID several grants to make safety and operational improvements to the US Highway 78 and Mountain Industrial Boulevard ramps and roadways throughout the corridor.
