Fadeologist Ribbon-Cutting
We’d like to welcome the newest business to the Hugh Howell Marketplace! Fadeologist officially opened its doors — and its shears last week.

Founded by CEO John HF Douglas III, the master barber and his team deliver “Haircuts To A Science.” Founded in 1996, the Lawrenceville location was voted Best of Gwinnett in 2017 and the Steve Harvey Morning Show Neighborhood Award in 2013.

In association with the barber shop, Fadeologist created a nonprofit organization called The Fadeologist Foundation, which helps boys ages of 12-15 from single-parent homes learn about leadership and responsibility.

We are so proud to have this new business keeping us and our members looking good in the district!
Panel Systems Unlimited
Panel Systems Unlimited, located at 4789 Hammermill Road, has been a thriving business in our district since 1996. The office furniture and workspace innovating company transforms plain office spaces into modern, ergonomic and sustainable hubs providing employees the necessary amenities and comforts away from home.

Co-owner Scott Chapman located Panel Systems Unlimited in the Tucker district because of his familiarity with the region having worked in the area since 1988. The proximity to all the metro Atlanta corridors was an ideal location to set up shop and ship cubicle, conference, lighting and acoustical solutions and more throughout the city and the United States.

Well done, Panel Systems Unlimited, and to many more years of success!
Antico Pizza Napoletana
You may have heard that the Michelin Guide paid Atlanta restaurants a visit last month, but did you know that one of our own district’s restaurants received an entry in the prestigious publication?

Antico Pizza Napoletana in the Hugh Howell Marketplace received a Bib Gourmand award for its gourmet pizzas and delicious class ic Italian offerings. While Michelin-star rated restaurants can be quite expensive, Bib Gourmand recommendations guarantee quality food at reasonable prices.

Congratulations Antico Pizza Napoletana!
Tucker SPLOST
On November 7, 2023, DeKalb residents voted to approve the second continuation of SPLOST (special purpose local option sales tax). SPLOST II could generate up to $850 million that would benefit the county’s capital improvement projects.

Salvation Army
There is still time to adopt a family for the holidays through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. To prevent an underserved child or family from missing out on the spirit of Christmas, the donors of the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program provide gifts for children and seniors living at or below the poverty level.

The Salvation Army’s Tucker warehouse is the primary processing and distribution center for the metro Atlanta area. Help make a difference and bring joy to children and seniors on Christmas morning. The holidays bring out the generous spirit in our district!

Choose an angel online at AngelTreeAtlanta.org or request a family by emailing AngelTreeCoordinator@uss.salvationarmy.org.

COVID-19, Flu & RSV Vaccine Information

It’s that time of year again where COVID-19, Flu, RSV and upper respiratory illnesses increase. While hospitalization remains low and the RSV and flu cases are expected to return to pre-pandemic levels, the State Epidemiology department warns residents not to fall into a false sense of security.
The wild card is that circulating variants can change rapidly and result in high levels of transmissions, which is why getting your annual vaccine booster shots is so important. Receiving all three shots on the same day is perfectly safe and a great way to prevent future illness.
Look for your nearest Tucker location to receive your vaccines today.
