LaDena Bolton
Congratulations to Dr. LaDena Bolton, our new Super District 7 Commissioner!
LaDena Bolton defeated Jacqueline Adams with 70% of the vote. Bolton replaces former Super District 7 Commissioner Lorraine Cochran Johnson, who won the DeKalb County CEO’s race. We look forward to working with Commissioner Bolton in making our district the most incredible place to open a business!
Autoglo Update
This past October, Autoglo became the authorized body shop for Stivers Subaru in Decatur adding a million dollars in gross sales annually to the Tucker area, providing an additional $40K in sales tax to the City of Tucker, which contributes more than $100K in additional payroll taxes. This arrangement has also allowed Autoglo to become a partner with Subaru North America as a certified Subaru collision repair facility, which will allow the company to bring in revenue from neighboring counties as well.

Along with Autoglo’s current partnership with Honda/Acura, this new collaboration allows the company to serve our district in a much greater way. Autoglo is also currently in negotiations with Audi/VW to join their certified network. As cars continue to advance, the need for qualified facilities is more important than ever to ensure a safe and reliable repair. Autoglo focuses on keeping up with the current technology, training and equipment and pioneering the future of the industry to serve the community better.

i-285 Eastside Express Lanes Project

Almost 200,000 vehicles travel this section of I-285 each weekday.

This proposed project focuses on adding two new, optional express lanes that are barrier-separated in both directions of I-285 from Henderson Road to just south of I-20.
