TSCID Owners Meeting
Thank you to all the members who were able to make it out to the Owners’ Meeting at Stone Ridge Event Center on August 23.

Thank you to Mayor Frank Auman, Major Matthew Harden, Police Chief Mirtha Ramos, Commissioner Lorraine Cochran-Johnson, Commissioner Robert Patrick and Larry Kaiser for your updates. (See infrastructure updates at the bottom of the newsletter.) We had some insightful discussions and we have heard all of your concerns and will be working the City of Tucker and DeKalb County to address them all as best we can.

Founded in 1996, Classic Entry Systems has been in our district at 4554 Lewis Road since 2005. The company works with Atlanta’s premier builders, developers and private clients to provide a variety of services including automatic entry gate systems, CCTV, access control and custom decorative gates for high-end homes and communities.

According to owner Keith Dudley, being located in the Tucker Summit CID provides Classic Entry Systems easy access to its customers in Buckhead, Brookhaven, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Decatur and other Atlanta metro areas.

EAE Group
After nearly three years in its Dunwoody headquarters, Turkish electrical distribution system company, EAE Group is relocating its offices to Tucker Summit CID. EAE has committed to adding 7,670 SF of office space to its 102,000 SF facility at 2000 Mountain Industrial Boulevard.

EAE Group is internationally renowned for its power distribution systems, ducting and busbar systems and other related items used in hospitals, office buildings, business centers, malls and the automotive industry. Moving the rest of the company’s operations to the Tucker site provides “optimal accessibility and further expansion potential,” stated Transwestern Real Estate Services Vice President Thomas Savage.

FODAC in Maui
Our most philanthropic member is at it again. FODAC (Friends of Disabled Adults & Children) will be assisting FEMA on the Hawaiian island of Maui, after the devastating wildfires in late August.

The nonprofit organization will be mobilizing more than 100 items of home medical equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, rollators, shower chairs and more to assist people with injuries and disabilities.
