After a postponement in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, the City of Tucker is ready to host the
2021 Manufacturing Day on August 25 at Stone Ridge Event Center. The event, which takes participants behind the scenes of Tucker’s busy industrial corridors, will feature insights from leaders in local and state business as well as commercial real estate.
Breakfast will be available during the two panels moderated by Tucker’s mayor, Frank Auman. The first panel will feature local manufacturers sharing their success stories and the second panel will focus on labor and workforce issues with guests including Decide DeKalb Development Authority and the Metro Chamber of Commerce. Following the panels, participants will be transported to several industrial and manufacturing facilities around the city, giving them a firsthand opportunity to see these top companies in action in Tucker. Lunch will be provided upon the tours’ return.
To attend Tucker’s 2021 Manufacturing Day, participants can sign up here. Stone Ridge Event Center is located at 1750 Stoneridge Drive.
